This is a set of hand-made straps manufactured as a tribute to one of the most important military operations of World War II, that supposed the beginning of a new era in the world. Operation Overlord was the name given to the Normandy Landings, and began on June 6, 1944. In MustangStraps we want to give the name of each of the beaches and crucial points of this Operation to one of our straps, and part of this set are the following six models: UTAH, OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO and SWORD PEGASUS BRIDGE.
The leather used to manufacture the straps in this series is hand-made processed, slowly aging the leather before making the final product; this process gives them that unique look to each strap. There will never be two identical straps because the aging treatment is carried out individually and customized to each piece. Also the thread used, made with cotton-nylon, helps to achieve this unique vintage look.
